Yeah, ok, it is still oil and that means environmental consequences....air, water, hazardous waste, impacts on human health and the ocean environment. We need viable alternatives for the future so we can get out of the Middle East and out of oil. We won't be out of oil until we run out.

NO I'm not OK with American's dying over oil.!!!!!!! We are in a Catch 22 situation right now... alternative energy sources cost money to develop and will come slowly as will our ability to reduce dependence on foreign oil. I agree with all your points....just don't see a quick solution. Song is brilliant though.

Sorry, that is nonsensical....Anyone that DRIVES knows why we need oil. My point is that WE DID NOT GO IN FOR THAT REASON. Dubya gave all the BS reasons I listed. Had he said we are going in for their oil, the world community would have rightly screamed.....

Ummm wrong. We went in on false pretenses. It was 9/11, then Saddam had WMDs, then it was to overthrow a dictator.....Dubya could not make up his f*****g mind...... :-(
