Pokemon Emerald RNG Abuse for Wild Pokemon Part 1: Finding Your Frame and Sweet Scent Calibration

Well, here it is, the first part of my Emerald RNG Abuse Guide to Wild Pokemon. This video shows you how to get your method and frame, as well as calibrating your Sweet Scenter.

You should get a chart to record your results on your Sweet Scent Calibration.

You should have an idea of what you want to get and how long you are willing to wait for it. Remember, 60 frames is roughly a second, so if you picked a frame of 39,460, you'd be waiting for almost 11 minutes for the frame to roll around! If you mess up, it'll take another 10 minutes. You won't use this until Part 2, but you want to get prepared.

@skipper7210 I don't really understand how the game works. I just put up the videos as I understand them. Also, I don't have Ruby or Sapphire.

@skipper7210 I believe the problem there is the Seed it ends up using when the internal battery runs out is random, so RNG Abuse would be inconsistent from game to game.

@pokechao196 but i googled it and took me to smogon.com and it says "In order to generate a constant seed, the Ruby and Sapphire cartridges must have a non-functioning internal battery."

@ShinifyPokemon If you've put in a usable ID, SID, and Method #, my guess is that you have too many limitations on it. I'd start with the Shiny Only box, and slowly add one or two parameters. Too many restrictions can leave you with no results.
