@edwin4362 As far as I understood its the pilot that navigates big ships away from dockside through local waters and into deeper water the pilot then disembarks, and the captain takes over.

@hoppy82 You are right, our cameras compress depth of field making everything look a lot closer. However, when you take the width of that basin and subtract the width of Oasis and the length of Constellation... not a lot of wiggle room! Over the last couple of years, most departures from that berth happened AFTER the berth 18 (Oasis) vessel had already left.
