An older VTA bus is demoted to driver training only. Iv'e seen it around the city and it's only used while a sign says "Training Coach"

  • I miss driving the old TMC 8800's, had the wheel chair ramps at the back door.

  • VTA has retired their Fixible fleet. They now use the 9700 series Gillig Phantoms for training.

  • I wish Bee-Line had some 95 Flxibles, maybe theyd still be around.

  • How many of VTA's 1992 Flxibles had their original L10's removed in favor of ISM's (this one, #9269, might be among them)? I know the transplant is confirmed in regards to #9289.

  • That exhaust tip is familiar: TriMet's 1992 Flxible Metros, #1701-1808, also have it. I think that is what accounts for its vampire engine note.
