Lies?

While traveling I saw the bumper sticker pictured in the video and it made me wonder if the owner of the car was willfully ignorant or just blindly following the Government Media Complex or his idea of party lines.

I find it sad that political affiliation has become a kind of quasi religious experience these days and facts get in the way of the faith in our parties.

I have nothing against party affiliation I have been a registered Democrat and Republic and voted independent as well. Slogans and party talking points however are not always sufficient and in the face of fact to the contrary we aught to happily abandon them.

I care less about what my party says is right than I do about what really is right.

Truth matters more than politics.

No one is debating if killing was stopped. My point is not whether or not there was ethnic cleansing in Kosovo. The point is how and why you go to war.

The video comments more on the nature of politics than it does on who was right or wrong anyway. I haven't said either Clinton or Bush were wrong. I know that is what people like to argue but that is not how I see it.

We are still there... we still have forces in Kosovo. Do you think they send our troops places without our approval? Again, did we have UN approval for actions in Kosovo?

The UN has no military. Our forces are not under UN control they cannot send our military into battle we command our military not the UN it is not theirs.

The USA can use its military on UN actions if it choses to.

Again, did Clinton get additonal UN approval for the 1998 action? President Bush tried but did not get it did Clinton even try?

Did he try to get, or get approval for Kosovo?

If anyone got the WMDs it was NOT the UN.

Now lets look at the Balkans, another war without UN approval, unilateral action and we are STILL THERE but no one is worried about that are they? And what do you know about the history of that region?

Were we justified just because of suspected ethnic cleansing? If that is what you need to justify a war then what about the mass graves we have found since toppling Saddam?

Would you say there are more or less mass graves in Iraq than Kosovo?

The UN has no military. If anyone destroyed them it was the USA and check and see if Clinton got additional UN approval for his little adventure in the sky.

If Clinton destroyed them and the UN knew this why did they spend so much time in Iraq trying to find out if Saddam still had them? You have no clear memory of the historical events here you are practicing what I call Two Legs Good Four Legs Bad politics and if you don't get the reference in that you need to read more.
