Goth Halloween offering from the Dueling Harp show with Ann Magnuson, Adam Dugas, Alex Rannie and Mia Theodoratus. This is a blood soaked tale of a knights death and three Ravens who would thank-you-very-much like to eat his remains. So, did the 16th Century Rock or what?

  • Interesting interpretation !

  • cool performance and funny intro , cheers Dave

  • Three ravens belongs to the very early ballad tradition of the 'trabadour'

It dates back to the 15th century at least in England. The word leman is Old English.

  • @Revenantch Three Ravens was origanally English Twa(Two) Corbies was Scottish

  • it's scottish and called The Twa Corbies

  • @Revenantch English.

  • hmm... two version of this song: one Scottish, the other english...Which is original?

  • I'm not fond of this, I must admit. Folk songs sung a la 'Show Tunes!'

Not my cup of tea, old boy.

I love the harp as an instrument, but I found this harp to be distracting and strangely at odds with the song and the style.

Nope, not to my taste, but plenty of people seem to be enjoying it

  • WOW!

  • marvelously menacing... thanks for posting!
