  • damn i was in the parking lot smoking a blunt when Pod went on....im still pissed at myself for that one....

  • its titled southdown dude.....

  • what is the second song??

    how does it call?

  • Im not a fanboy. I WONT like anything that doesn't have emotion I can relate to. I didn't like their POD album and I never said they were unique. We had a misunderstanding. I thought he was discrediting POD because he didnt like their kind of music and my statement was unbiased. I can understand where he's coming from now and I've felt the same way he does about other bands. Would you not agree if someone who didn't understand your music called it overrated? But I was wrong and it's all good now

  • @jefferygwatkins I can understand that.

  • @StlyeFree I was a huge POD fan back in the day. I had the live record, then I got "Fundamental" and "Satellite" but whereupon hearing "Payable on Death" and then some of "Testify", I was just done. They weren't doing anything. "Satellite" was a progression from "Fundamental" and "Fundamental" was a step up from the early stuff on Rescue Records. I just think they peaked and their not doing anything new.

  • @jefferygwatkins Oh my bad. I thought you were one of those random people who don't even listen to this kind of music and call it overrated just cause their bands have never been on MTV. Though I thought WAASD was really different from their other albums imo.

  • @StlyeFree Actually, nothing changed for me. I previously stated that Satellite was a good album. I think it's their best. The stuff that followed seemed very much like a rehashing of their earlier work. My hearing didn't change; their ability to write good songs again was the turning point. As a fan, I wanted to continue to like them. Their lack of creativity put me off, not the other way around. By purporting that POD are overrated was just an opinion, thus not something worth mentioning by U.

  • @jefferygwatkins Speaking from a completely unbiased point of view, the reason you think their overrated is because the way you listen to music changed, and now you no longer enjoy P.O.D.'s music the same way the fans do. So saying outright that their overrated is really unwise because people who listen P.O.D. don't listen to music the same way you do so it's not fair to people when you don't listen to their music the same way the fans do and you call them overrated.

  • POD are definitely a jam type of band, nothing really complicated musically but a band with something to say.
