  • Is the screen a nice size? and does it come with windows 7 for free? Is it worth thr price?

  • yes - for browsing, word processing, movie... anything you use with 1 window open. The matte LED display is far better than all my other laptops!

No - for multi-tasking, researching, and adobing

No windows 7 as of now, may change when 7 is actually released

Yes it is worth the price. I sold mine, but only because I do a lot of multi-tasking. I would've kept it if it had a bigger screen, and at least dual-core.

  • asus lcd screen 26' or 28' ?

  • dell 3007wfp-hc

  • THanks for your review!

    2 questions:

    1. What size is your desktop monitor? It seems 24", right?

    2. Windows server 2008 seems working good. Which is the most important differences between vista, xp, and server2008 ( if you know the most important... ) :) thanks!

  • it's 30"

Server2008 seems to have most of Vista features, after some configuration, and the speed of XP.

  • Duuude Awsame PC, I have the same :)) And RA2 is the best game EVER!!!!, but it was never lagging to me.. I had Eee 901 and it was not lagging either :P. However i have a big "?" is it normal the CPU to run at 60 deg C 65... even 71 when i play Create?? And i think the fan does not do anything :P

  • i would love to have one , but they're too expensive here in my country they cost more than $499

  • there's over a hundred icons on that screen!!

  • Eee PC serves well as supplement to desktop or heavy laptop. Not game machine, so save complex games for desktops or dedicated devices. Does well with simple games, wp, browsing, & similar. Great for toting around house (kitchen recipes, bathroom wireless browsing, workshop reference, yard reading, etc) or to & from office. Thumbdrive transfers data quickly. Good enough for extended vacations or moves.

  • hah that monitor isn't to huge

woo installed 2048MB DDR2-667 in my Eeepc, (mines royal blue)

good little computers, dont expect to be tearin' ass across the internet though.

mine came with Windows 7 starter, formatted and installed XP on it. 7 just took a terrible amount of time to boot up and get all set.
