@RoadsideRon Ron, you're a GREAT teacher & this video proves it. The majority of teachers can NOT 'teach' or, rather, THIINK 'outside the box in order to explain and/or break thiings down for those who can't quite grasp traditional 'methods'. BlasianQT101 is right. 'Teachers' put a problem on the board & move on. Those who struggle to get the concept are left in the dust. Our entire educational system needs to change & it would be for the better if teachers could 'get it'.

i like the imagery you used to show how to divide a fraction properly. well done.

The s=>d button allows you to change a fraction to a decimal. With the 'shift' button on a fx-83GT PLUS calculator(scientific) you can get the '%' sign.

If you have a calculator, you divide 1/4. 1/4=0.25
To find 0.25 as a percentage, you multiply 0.25 by 100.
1/4 -> 0.25 -> 25%
