i have never had any luck with Briggs Engines for long term use. i have 2 craftsman tractors both 6000 gt one has an 18 hp kohler and the other has a 27hp kohler both still run great
Not the frist time i've seen valve seats that have been peined in. Normally we do it to retain dust seals on wheel hubs. Not good practice to pein in a valve seat
I'll give ya 50 bucks for it.

the problem with this engine is that it's 501 cc's , and the components were never made strong enough for that kind of power...
