This documentary, hosted by Dave Despain, features incredible footage from the 1971 NHRA SuperNationals in Ontario, Ca. There are neat interviews with Dick Landy and classic footage of Top Fuelers and Funny Cars. This three-parter is 30 minutes in length.

I can't say that today's drag racing doesn't compare with the racing from 30 years ago, cause today's cars and technology are awesome. But there was just something back then than is different from today. Maybe it was the beginning of Pro
Stock with the likes of Grumpy Jenkins, Bob Glidden, Dick Landy, Dyno Don Nickelson, Ronnie Sox that made it seem so special. I remember when a 9.000 in Pro Stock was really smoking down the track!

This was the vary first drag race I went to . I've been hooked ever sense , I have the poster I got there on my wall to this day . The old OMS tower now is at Pamona , it's used out in the parking lot at the end of the track .
