20 years from now HBK will be less remembered then Jesse Ventura is now. HBK will be known as the third or fourth best member of the Kliq. Hogan will be remembered as possibly the best wrestler of all time along people like Undertaker, Andre the giant, Rock and Stone Cold.

For as "great" as HBK was, he NEVER was the face of the WWE the way the truly great wrestlers are.

@MrSmokeydogg7 That is because of backstage politics. If anyone should be called Mr.Wrestlemania it is Undertaker or Hogan. Undertaker for the streak, few people have ever been in 20 WM. Hogan because he has been in more legendary matches in WM then anyone else. (I mean matches of the ages like Hogan vs Andre/Warrior/Rock)

@charmer2323 The most memorable moment in HBKs Career is the Montreal Screwjob. Think about it. His biggest claim to glory he played third fiddle to Hart/McMahon. Go down the list HBK vs Razor Ramon ladder match, HBK vs Bret Hart iron man, HBK vs Taker 1&2, and the list goes on but not a single one of them mean as much as Hogan vs Rock, or Hogan Vs Warrior, or Hogan Vs Andre. None of them are as big as Hogan joining the NWO. HBK is a notch or two below the best of the best

I disagree with a lot of what has been said here.. Hogan is years and years past his prime and not good to watch as a wrestler, the only interesting part of the match was HBKs over-selling, if he didn't oversell it would of been a snooze fest.

in 20 years when people talk about who the greatest is, Hogan will still be one of the first if not the first name spoken. Undertaker, Andre the giant will come up, even Rock and Austin will. However HBK will be the Dan Marino of this list. No one will think of him until you are reaching the top 10. Go down another 10 years and HBK is in risk of falling off completely like King Kong Bundy

Do you think HBK was disrespectful to the fans who bought tickets or paid to watch SummerSlam 2005 on TV? They paid for a match between two legends, and HBK comically oversells throughout the whole match "like it's a big joke," as Hogan said.
