Workaround for the tsmuxer.exe crash error (found via a Google search)

1. Install MKVtoolnix (Google it)

2. Import the MKV (on the 'Input' tab, click the 'add' button)

3. Under 'Tracks, chapters and tags:' you will see audio and video, and possibily subtitles (subtitles doesn't matter)

4. In the 'Extra options' tab, for 'Compression' choose 'none' (for both audio & video, which is listed under 'Tracks, chapters and tags:' as mentioned in step three)

5. Click the 'Start muxing' button

6. Then open the newly made MKV file in MKV2VOB and convert without issue.

Muxing fails are a common bug with mkv2vob, there is info in the video description on how to solve it.

Dude, this isn't playing MKV; anyone could convert the video format and watch it on their PS3...do you actually know how to play MKV on PS3 WITHOUT needing to convert anything?

This program doesn't convert, it remuxes the MKV. There is a difference. And to answer your question, the answer is simply no.

You can add more than one MKV file at a time. So the videos will be queued up, and all you have to do is leave it there and it'll do its stuff.

wait i have a problem this program is excellent but I download subtitled anime is there a way to keep the subs the video so they will show up when played? I tried encoded subs and load subtitles in mkv2vob but it errors when it transcodes is there anyway to fix this?
