All About Biodiesel : Basic Titration When Making Biodiesel

He is clumsy, with an ill-disciplined method of operating that will eventually lead to an accident. He discards stuff all over the bench once he's used it. The equipment is crammed into too small a space, and I continually expected him to knock over his vessels or spill their contents with his mixing method, which he actually does on other videos. The commentary is poor.
Should have done another take or two- he knows his stuff and with a bit more effort this could have been really good.

farmers in SE asia are switching from producing food crops to vegetable oils for the biodiesel industry. the oil crops use up the nutrients in the soil in only 2-3 years, making it useless to use for anything after. for every liter of biodiesel produced, one person starves for a day in these poor crop-producing countries

Im sorry but why are we doing this (titration)?

This is so...non proffesesional with this titration technique...the equipment was a not even completely see through...come on....at least have proper equipment

That purple colour he was talking about looked PINK to me

yeah its the titration is just to see how much lye is necessary, I'm pretty sure as long as you have the right percentages for your diesel, you should be fine, this is just a chemistry experiment. It's ok as long as it stays for about 30 seconds.
