Ann-Margret in soapsuds ~ "Tommy" overture

A-M freeks out when she sees her pinball wizard kid on the telly, and ends up writhing around in soapsuds in this bizarre scene (slowed 7x, slightly mishmashed to fit around song, and kolor-imbued, natch), from Ken Russell's epic 1975 flick of "Tommy" - the Who's rock opera.

and Great Movie, tommy was mostly shot 'Here' in my home town of Portsmouth..and my unkle was somewhere in the audience at portsmouth's 'theatre royal' when they shot the scene for elton john's 'pinball wizard song!! ahhh..my lucky unkle paul haha

exactly. i'd originally set out to turn this into a fullscreener but di'int want to lose the kolor detailz @ the edges. it's mainly a bunch of tiny microclips blasted individually w/diff. kolorblends added during editing. there was a lil' space left @ the end of the song, so i added a lil' previous footage onto the end.

this is prob part 1 of a 3-part A-M/"Tommy" series. i'd originally considered incl. the beans & chocolate, but wanted to keep the foamy vibe going here. yes, i will consider it.

How did you do this? I know you overdubbed the audio. It looks like you filmed this off the tv. Would you consider doing a full out video remix of this scene? How about one with the beans & chocolate?
