I have a great idea....why doesn't SC secede...along with Texas. Then, as a newly formed 3rd world country, each could rebuild their "southern slavery" countries the way they want.
No liberals, no free people of color (guess they'd have to all move out), no health insurance unless you're rich. They could return to those years when cotton was King, sit around on the front porch, sip Mint Juleps.
Just think, heavenly...like Haiti or Bangladesh or Somalia!

Grow some backbone America. Joe Wilson would have gotten along just fine in old school politics just not the "polite" New Politics. Don't screw over a good person because he was rude at the wrong time. Face it, people make mistakes and say things out in the heat of the moment.
