I compared the ic-7200 with my old ts-830 and an ft-450 and I decide the by this nice icom ham radio.

Thank you for info, I already buy IC-7200 and I am very happy with this radio. I work 95% Cw, semi-bk, and it is very smooth. A really nice radio.

YES!! it id is for sure better then the FT-450. I am pretty much a Yaesu guy but i have to say the Icom IC-7200 is far better then the 450 which i had also. I even have to confess and i don't like it at all, that the 7200 is is very close to or to compare with the FT-2000 which is my main HF radio. Good luck with your choice.

Thanks for your opinion. I'll like to see a Rx test on CW with all the filters as well as a full break in test on CW TX if you have some time once.

I have the same rig. I am very satisfied with the IC-7200. Not only because of the digital DSP and PBT, but also this rig is very well constructed an very rugged.

Not to forget the USB-connection - total rig control + audio I/O.
