OldKentuckyHome - Thank you, it's obvious I'm a rank amateur when it comes to making videos but I'm just having some fun and passing on some of my martini making tips!
I do plan on more martini videos but I've been in transition while waiting for my home - I move in soon so new martini videos will be coming again!

No, but I can guarantee that if you drink more than two you'll think you do!

You're so cute, but...a 12 oz. Martini!? Hic... Let's add up the ingredients...2oz. Vodka, 2oz. Limeade, 1 oz. cream, capful of Vanilla, 1.5 T. Powdered sugar. = tada.....maybe 6 oz. @ most. Hahahahaha, I love Key Lime Pie Martinis and have tried multiple recipes, I'll check this one out too. Thanks fellow Diva!

@tourdiva1 2+2+1 equals a five ounce martini which will hit 6 with the sugar and shaking. . .standard size for the new style of martinis out there since they employ non alcoholic mixers in a larger ratio than a traditional gin or vodka martini. The reason why the classic martini glass is 4 oz is because a classic martini is all alcohol.
This is actually one of my favorite still and you can leave out the cream and have a simple Key Lime Martini with this recipe as well.

that is ALOT of vanilla.
...
I'm just sayin

@palebluedot I like a lot of vanilla to balance out the tartness of the lime - feel free to use a mix of plain vodka and vanilla vodka if you choose. Plus the vanilla adds an interesting depth to the sweetness that sugar does not.

I made this martini and I made a small change, I used 1 part vanilla vodka and 1 part kiki key lime liqueur in place of the 2 parts van. vodka and I rimmed my martini glass with crushed graham crackers YUM!!!!!! Thanks Martini Diva!!!!!! This is my new martini fav!!

Gingersoave - I've done the graham cracker crust myself when I've made these for guests but I'm not fond of graham crackers myself so I only use sugar on my own.
I'll have to try out the kiki key lime liqueur - it sounds interesting! Thanks!
