This is a compilation of some of Luis Figo's best moments including goals, skills, freekicks, assists, dribbles and the Ballon d'Or presentation.
Luis Figo is from Almanda, (Lisbon) in Portugal, born 4th November 1972 and is considered as not only one of the best footballers to come from Portugal but of all time. He is in the FIFA 100, a list put together by the Brazilan ledgend Pele of the greatest living footballers in 2006.
Figo has played for Sporting Clube de Portugal (Sporting Lisbon) and comes from the famous academy which has also produced footballers such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Luis Nani, Ricardo Quaresma, Miguel Veloso, Joao Moutinho, Rui Patricio and many more. He then joined Barcelona, then completed a World Record transfer to arch rivals Real Madrid then retired from football to a standing ovation at Inter Milan of Italy.
His international career made him the most capped player of all time (127), higher than Fernando Couto and he is seen as the leader of Portugal's ledgendary "Golden Generation" which won back to back FIFA Junior World Cups in the 1980s and early 1990s.
Figo's shirt is usually his number 7 (seven, sete) however it had to be 10 (ten, dez) at Real Madrid because Raul already had the 7!
He has won many team trophies including the Champions League and individual trophies such as World Player of the Year.

Luis is my all time favourite footballer and I personally think he is the best ever and before anyone says it, he is much better than CR9!

If you saw the game between Real madrid and Milan Vetaran, you could see that Figo still have the level to play the world cup, at least one half by match, and we would have been further in the competition. For the moment Figo is a legend, and Ronaldo is one of the worst player in Portugal team, anyone in the bank would have done better than him, at each competition with the national team Ronaldo is worse and worse. What will he do in euro 2012 ? own goal? red card? sent off by the coach?
