Is Westboro Baptist your excuse?

Has Westboro Baptist become your excuse? Do you truly believe God is going to accept that excuse? No! Because God does not accept excuses! God commands and expects obedience, not excuses. Bottom line is we can not afford the time to continue to hide behind our excuses of why we won't stand together and fight against this real threat of radical Islam. Wake up before it's too late!

Westboro Baptist Church is not the reason I don't stand with "Stand up America!"

I don't stand with them because they are a bunch of homophobic, Islamophobic bigotted idiots.

The fight against terrorism is not the same as a "fight against Islam".

The right thing is to oppose hatred wherever it comes from. Westboro Baptist Church is part of the problem, and is not a solution.

@mivonaUK - We are not saying that all Muslims are terrorist, but all or nearly all terrorist are Muslim. The numbers don't lie! The Koran teaches and promotes violence and fear toward anyone that does not follow Islam. So, I believe that the war against terrorism is indeed the same as the war against Islam!

The Koran is a historical document, much like the Bible, and the vast majority of Muslims in the west recognize that and live their lives in accordance with the positive concepts in it rather than war-inspired elements of it. While radical and fundamentalist Muslims do offer a threat, they are not the be-all of Islam, and those characteristics should not be ascribed to all Muslims.

If you have a look at FBI statistics about terrorist attacks in the US, you will find that the majority of terrorists are not Muslim. Considering that they are a fairly small proportion of the population means that the risk of being in a terrorist incident perpetrated by a Muslim is extremely small. The fear of Muslims is entirely out of all proportion to the actual risk.
