Contest #8:
Hey Mahalo Video Games fans...
Time to declare a winner in our "Wolverine" contest.
The question was:
"If Hugh Jackman stopped playing Wolverine, who would you pick to replace him?"
We got a lot of interesting responses...
Lots of votes for Vin Diesel
Almost as many for Jason Statham
One call for Clint Eastwood to step in, despite his age!
But it turns out, the best there is at what he does was CorruptedFlame, who nominated Gerard Butler...
"I would have to say Gerard Butler. He's already proven that he can be a total bad@ss in movies like 300 and rocknrolla. I'm almost positive that he can take on Wolverine's persona, from his attitude, to the way he does his war-cry. And much like Hugh Jackman doing Broadway, Mr. Butler has also starred in the Phantom of the Opera movie. I'd say the only thing that he would need to work on would be his accent, but other than that he would be a great choice."
Congratulations, bub. You've won yourself a game from our secret stash.
And thanks to everyone for participation!
Stay tuned for more weekly contests from MahaloVideoGames, and...
...thanks for watching!

i can tone and define my voice to an extreme level, but Slater does not have that capability, i think he is one of those limits.

(O_O) You say that so definitively, like you knew him personally or something. I'll be honest with you: I find Jackman's "Wolverine" voice, and his entire performance altogether, to be extremely campy. Anyone can speak in a deep burly voice if they choose to do so. One can deliberately change the tone of their voice to a certain extent. There are some gender limits that apply in most cases, but I dont think Christian Slater is incapable of such things.

He has the hair and the face. He just looks mean, much like Wolverine. He's not the best actor, but Wolverine is not exactly a complex character to play, so I bet he could pull it off.

I was going to say Oliver Reed in his Hammer Horror days, he did a brilliant performance in The Curse of the Werewolf
