This is a song originally sung by a contemporary Germain/Hawaiian artist (Robi Kahakalau) I loved listening to when I was still living in Hawaii.
*Note that I changed the words from "We Hawaiians" to "the Hawaiians", for although I was born & raised there, I have no actual Hawaiian blood in me . . .

Aloha & much Mahalo for listening.

  • This is a gem, going back to the roots I see!!!

  • Ha ha! I guess so! Thanks for having a listen!

  • Very lovely, both your voices blend quite well. Has the artist put out any albums?

  • Yes! Robi Kahakalau has a few out - also known in the islands as "Sistah Robi". I loved her choices of songs and the feel of her hawaiian songs too. (I don't know though, she might not compose her own music!)

  • Beautiful !! :) Thanks for sharing, *****

  • Mahalo, Anindya! Thanks for listening . . .;-)
