  • how easy is it to set up a fish finder? i just bought a ocean kayak trident 11 sit on top and im going to start setting it up for fishing. dont have long until summer and i want to make sure i have this thing sett up perfect for when i start going to the lakes. its always fun catching fish in kayaks.

  • @alucardgrindcore

The hardest part is making that 1st cut into your new Kayak but after that its all smooth sailing just make sure you know what you want to do before you start cutting! good luck and hope you post pictures of you kayak.

  • I just bought 2 pelican castaway sit-on-top fishing kayaks for me and my girlfriend. I was kinda worried at first because I read some good/bad reviews. But you cant ever trust those because companies pay people to write good/bad reviews. We took um out the other day on the bay and absolutely loved um. Cant wait to get um in the water again. =)

  • I did look at the pelican castaway sit on tops, they are at a good price point. Glad you like them the only thing I would say that if you had that much of a good time your 1st time out, you are going to have a great summer because it will only get easier and you will be out longer and longer! have fun and welcome to the group!

  • how much do kayaks cost on average for a good one

  • Feiz01 I have a ripper and I am 12 :) I love my kayak

  • @mishmosh2000 I have rings along the sides of my kayak that a clip goes on. I think an anchor trolley gets in the way . It actually depends on what kayak you have

  • I am in the process of rigging my tarpon 100. It was funny to stumble upon your video. Have you enjoyed it?

  • i have the same kayak, tarpon 100 wish id gone for the 120 or 130 now though as ive put weight on lol, i bought my daughter the wilderness systems ripper, but may let her grow into the 100 then il buy a 120,and sell on the ripper, but so much fun weve had together exploring lakes in north wales want to do the cornish coast this yr hopefully :) thanks for posting :)

  • Great work. But an unrelated question to kayaking. What is name of and who sings the song you have playing in the background?

  • Hi, my question is: If you are saltwater fishing with your fishfinder rigged like that and you hook into a large fish, doesn't bringing it on board possibly damaged it where it's mounted? Wouldn't it be better mounting it on a short swing arm, from the side so when you bring your 40lb fish on board, the fishfinder can be swung over out of the way temporarily?

  • Great video! Thanks for sharing. What do you think about an anchor trolley? Needed? How do you secure an anchor without one?

  • @Yakfisherman08 whats the name of the 550 one?

  • does the transducer work well through the bottum of the kayak???i didnt think that it would be able to go through the plastic.

  • im confused??? the fish finders and stuff like that if u flip over or it get wet wont it ruin it???
