Nice setup!
I have a brushless but still waiting for the ESC in the mail. Is it normal that i cannot test the motor with just current from adapter or battery without he ESC? The motor just sticks.

hi I just bought this motor and I was just wondering how does it run like how much power did it seem to be giving out in the test

apparently the motors draw least current on least load, more current more heat... so the key is let it rev as freely as possible, at high rpm, and use a smaller prop. My mate is using a 3500Kv brushless and a 5.5x4 prop, it revs like mad, doesn't get too hot, and the little plane does 80mph easy!

That prop looks too big? Does the ESC get hot?
