Outside the Law Q&A 25-3-10 Part 1

A discussion following a screening of the documentary Outside the Law - Stories from Guantanamo. Speakers include Omar Deghayes (former Guantánamo prisoner), Andy Worthington (co-director of the film, with Polly Nash) and Aamer Anwar (human rights lawyer).

The film focuses on the stories of three particular prisoners - Shaker Aamer (who is still held), Binyam Mohamed (released in 2009) and Omar Deghayes (released in 2007). It is being screened as part of a UK tour to be launched at the National Film Theatre, London on Saturday 27 February. The tour coincides with a mounting scandal involving British complicity in torture, which focuses on Shaker Aamer and Binyam Mohamed.
