*It began in a field. THE LIGHTHOUSE AND THE WHALER began in 2008 when Michael LoPresti, Evan Storey, and Aaron Smith went to a park in Cleveland, Ohio to play music together. They wrote their first song in fifteen minutes. As they played it together people began to stop and listen to them play. The boys realized they were on to something and THE LIGHTHOUSE AND THE WHALER was born. THE LIGHTHOUSE AND THE WHALER blends sweeping vocals with shimmering melodies and orchestral soundscapes.

@MrAtrocityExhibition PLease think twice yourself before using nonsense terms like "chord schedules" and making utterly wrong observations like describing a pastoral band like FF as grotesque. This band is in fact very reminiscent of FF and it is a totally worthy comparison.

@echosmyron625 I hate it when people say something sounds similair to an another band when the only the voice sounds a bit the same.

Fleet foxes are way more grotesquer and use many baroque influence.

also their chords schedules are way different than used in this album.
