'Some Great Reward' was a huge part of my life during that period of time....if I remember correctly, this was Track 2, and it was without a doubt one of the best and most underrated songs of all time....I played this in my car every single day until the tape was completely warn out....as a 16-17 year old, the lyrics on this album spoke to me on an enormous level....simply one of the best albums ever made, period!!!!

This is the first album I bought of DM...in 1984...then I listened and fell in love with each and every song...and then I had to back track on the titles before...I have everything now :) over 30 yrs later ;)

damn...I so remember going to the clubs out in Phoenix,AZ and so dancing to this song....early 80's!!!! :) I will always love DM ;)

It would take a long time to convey the extent which Depeche have grasped my heart, soul, mind, and body alike... First heard them when I was 7. 14 years have passed, and I've never stopped listening. With age, I only gain more insight and appreciation for what their music has accomplished; truly Music for the literal "Masses".

I always found it fitting that when Dave sings the word "experiences" in the line "experiences leave a lasting impression" it sounds like he's singing "screaming and tears". My favorite DM song!
