Pouring a 12oz. beer

About our project:
My group and I designed and built an automatic kegerator. You interface with the kegerator through an lcd graphics display, moving through the menus with a Nintendo 8 controller. Users can set the number of ounces to be poured into the cup. Depending on the volume to be poured the stand will rotate to tilt the cup for you. Pressure sensors are attached to the cup holder and determine when the desired amount of beer has been poured.

In addition we use a general purpose timer to chime the Mario 1-Up sound every minute if the power hour or century club settings are enabled. (In honor of Prof. Brehob, the century club was renamed Brehob Mode.)

Pouring is controlled by a Rain Bird sprinkler solenoid and the cup is tilted using a high torque gear motor.
