Great job on this song! And I agree with having your own imagination. There are No set rules to music, Many artists have taught us that already. People need to get use to changes. 5*****

Nice take on this classic. your shirt says Yale but your rendition is pure punkin patch!

Bob Dylan did it. He used somebody elses lines in this very song, and he re-wrote the words to Rollin and Tumblin on his latest album.

LOL! Dylan was a little bit diplomatic... but sounds like you're happier after...

I thought that was really good. It's true, it is better fingerpicked, but you did a fine job strumming. As for that plagiarism comment, that was just plain stupid. I think it's great you're playing around with the verses. :)

vary good dude

awesome job I loved the emotion you put into it!!

Great take on it man
it was alright. Sounds better fingerpicked. and you can't just go "writing other verses" into someone elses songs, that copyright infringement and playjurism among other things that you can be sued for. Also, after getting to around the middle, the chords are wrong.

Thanks for the input as to finger picking, and I do realize that is a more popular method for playing this song... My finger picking is not so good as others though, and I'll look into the cording error you mention.
Also... "Plagiarism is the unauthorized use or close imitation of the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one's own original work."
I claim only my work as my own... I wrote the words to the last verse as played here.
