My church, Newsong LA, is actually getting ready to do a series called THIRD CULTURE (starting Jan. 23). The definition of the word “culture” is quickly becoming muy ambiguo. It is time to apply God's truth to our generation’s unique cultural diversity. In doing that, we hope to learn how to foster and live out genuine unity in our intercultural relationships and multicultural settings.

I come from a Latin american family, i grew up in a latino church but now i serve at an chinese predominately Malaysian church, at first the cultural differences were difficult to deal with as chinese tend to take a long time to open up to new people but soon you realize that what brings us together is the Love of God, i consider them family now.

I want to attend a diverse church so that I can invite my friends to come and they can feel more comfortable because people in my church are too judgmental when non-Blacks come in. I wish we weren't segregated because we are 1 body in Christ.
