It's crazy to even think to pay a player that kind of money. You don't even know if he's ready to play yet. It's a business. Get rid of Manning. It's time to rebuild. As good as Peyton is and to have only 1 ring. I hope Eli wins this S.B. against the Patriots. That will be number 2 for Eli.
All this talk is useless. My guess is Archie Manning has already told Peyton..."look son, you have al the money you will ever need, youve had a GREAT NFL career, the next hit could paralyze you for LIFE! Retire now, while youre on top of the game and you will forever be respected". No NFL Coach that has respect for the game would sign Peyton only to see him in a wheelchair after that one unlucky hit. Retire with CLASS, Peyton!
