The machine that started it all. Colossus was the first electronic computer (even before ENIAC). It was designed in Bletchley Park to decode German messages encrypted using the Lorenz machine. Although all Colossi were dismantled after the war and there were orders to destroy all plans, a few plans and pictures survived, which enabled the Colossus Rebuild team (led by Tony Sale) to recreate it.
