Please point out to me when or where did I say Rondo isn't an "effective" player?..

If anything I implied Rondo is a good player but were he a good shooter he'd be a much bigger threat due to the fact he'd stretch the defense more if he had the ability to make jumpers. He's already a great passer and a great finisher on the inside, were he a good shot he'd be unstoppable.

@Sigrafix the thing is when rondo came to the league, he was nowhere near as good as he is now. he was as bad a chalmers but doc rivers coached him and rondo became what he is today. see now chalmers is in the same situation, right now he can defend well. now he can shoot, and in the post season he has shown that he has a pretty good court vision. if chalmers ccontinues this progress he will be as good as rondo

Well that's relative.. Rondo is much more athletic and explosive than Chalmers absolutely.. but Chalmers can shoot circles around Rondo. Lol.

Now if Rondo had Chalmers shooting ability, that would be a scary player. He'd be a threat in the perimeter and in the paint not to mention his passing ability and court eye for assist.. that dude would be unstoppable if he worked on his shot.
