  • Depending on how much your gyro vibrates it can be a problem. The resonance and vibration from the engine can make the picture tremble. I simply stuck the GoPros to the gyro with the supplied self-adhesive mounts and have used no special fittings. I do have a very smooth gyro so that helps, but if you want better results then you need to build a stabiliser or vibration dampener. I use R5 for the nose cam, R4 for the mast cam and R3 for the tail cam.

  • NezzaXJ thanks for the comment, hope we did not disturb you too much with the low fly past, the dunes are such a great place to play, and not just for 4x4s! If you ever want to see the view from the opposite viewpoint then let me know and come for a ride... Jean.

  • hi jean, great vid, really enjoyed it... did u manage to get any footage from your flights around infanta???

  • Hi Jean, I only just saw your comment so sorry for the late response. You didn't disturb us at all. In fact, we were hoping you'd fly lower so we could take a better look :-). I'd love to jump into the spare seat if you have one available.

    Cheers

    Neil

  • Fantastic!!

Just one thing. We had same magni and go-pro. Unfortunatelly our videos tremble too much.

We have fixed the camera to rotor mast (in front not in the side like yours). Could you tell us wich resolution / configuration did you apply?? we did use r4 and r5 without succes. Also , did you fix the camera in an special way to avoid tremble??

    Thanks in advance

  • Great vid , nice to see from a diff angle esp the dunes

  • This must have been taken last Friday? Thats us at the top of Head-on-Hill at Atlantis Dunes. You flew over twice & we gave a wave. We all got a chance to admire your aircraft when you came back & flew low - very impressive craft.

Great video - thanks for posting!
