If I want to work wet-in- wet, I work on an area the next day. Adding a drop of clove oil will also extend the drying time. Usually I complete an area and work on another area, so each area has a few days to dry. I paint very thin. No impasto. Therefore each area is practically dry in the few days as I work on other areas. For varnishing I use a 50%-50% mix of Gloss and Mat Soluvar, to give me a semi-gloss look. Thanks for the compliments.
