What is with the kneeling thing! We used to use those student desks when we at school. None of us ever had to Kneel! Bend over and stick! LOL

well u can not touch the area after applying alcohol even wearing gloves...

Since I didn't see this video from the beginning, it's hard to comment. As long as the tourniquet wasn't on for more than 60 seconds, you did it almost perfect. Re-palpating the site should be avoided if possible even if you clean your finger. The only thing I would suggest, get off your knees bro. Have your manager look into a lifting chair. Bending hurts the back, and kneeling kills the knees. Trust me. I did it the same way for years and have had two knee surgeries already! :)

this patient is my wife and it was graduationg day at m school, so they didn't have any phlebotomy chairs. However when I did my internship the chairs were tall enough so I didn't need to kneel at all.

You touched the patients arm after putting on the alcohol.

on the left side of the paitents arm is another alcohol pad that I dabbed my fingers on before touching the patients skin.
