Servises were resumed today on the DVLR, RIVER BUTLEY, my accucraft excelsior (Ex BGLR), is seen in the cold running the rather run down railway. Much of the railway's home stock is in the works ,which are getting really full, for repairs as well as the other locos. Second hand stock was ordered in cheap from other railways as a quick fix to the problem. The servise ran from Snape St to Butley halt as the track into woodbridge was blocked by track damage from the freeze thaw conditions. At the end of the day a problem with the buffer beams on River Butley was discovered so has gone in for emergency works. Heven knows what we'll have to do without any locomotives...
