well i suppose the "freaky" part falls within the stylistic demands of the musical, haha.

as for the off key bit, uh.. not really. maybe in one or two instances, but you try belting those Fs multiple times in a night while fighting off a stubborn upper respiratory infection. ;)

@Fusionscope The key thing is kind of insulting. Especially considering the fact that an actor should always be cast over a singer (per Sondheim). But in either case this lovely lady did friggn fantastic. We're lucky she's put it on youtube for us.

i haven't been able to sing since my voice changed at 12. even then, i was in a church choir.
