Some old doodles

Some old drawings that haven't seen the light of day for years.

I damaged my wrist in 2001. Now it aches when I apply repetitive pressure, so can't draw like this anymore : (

That's why I went digital with my later work.

They were done in my heavy mind altering drug days
(can you tell?).

I wasn't on drugs when I actually drew them
(well...maybe a bit of weed).

I call them doodles, because I just listened to some music, switched off and made them up as I went along. I didn't know what I'd end up with. I was like a man possessed.

My World is based on a map of the world.
(some people don't see it).

Biromaniac was drawn with a bic biro, to show that I don't use an eraser.

Jola was drawn for an ex called Laura. Her baby brother called her Jola.

Half wit was going to be a butterfly with the other half of the brain, making 2 wings and called "open your mind". I never got round to it.

Peking Duck is referring to peaking on an acid trip. The duck is a rubber duck (can you see it?).

Psycho Derrick sounds like psychedelic and I knew a schizophrenic called Derrick. He's loosing his mind.

Lions mane pride used images from a book on Zimbabwe, that my dad brought back from a business trip. The waterfall is Victoria falls.

Just thought I'd give them an airing.

@youwangstertube between 10 - 20 hours & 30 hrs to colour, which is not much compared to the digital collages. I put estimated times on my website. The link's on my channel : )

@blazeyblazer Try freestyle drawings or doodles. There's no specific name that I know of. I've seen similar artwork, but nothing the same. They're my own style : P

I draw some stuff slightly similar to these, but these are incredibly inspiring. Youve managed to fill each page with absolute harmony. I do that but on a less intense scale. Much respect.
