I´m going to see this guys next Friday,I´m very excited.They are touring with other 3 bands,so the DT setlist is...good enough.I´m agree with you.I like the dream theater classics( and I prefrer the 1999 Rudess too).It´s just my opinion.
Anyways,Dream Theater+Opeth=Epic Win.

I think it was great...but of course I would choose a different setlist...but one think I love about DT, the setlist is always a surprise and they always play different stuff Mirror/Lie was amazing!

Maybe its just me but I didnt like the mix at all. I was standing 10meters from the stage. Way too loud (bass)drum, guitar not loud enough, way too much reverb on vocals ... untill they played Forsaken-Count of Tuscany. Those two songs were almost perfect. Besides that, as a synth player myself, I'm starting to hate rudess using his toys and as a result making more and more errors. And more subjective ... I didn't like the playlist. As a big DT fan, it was a disappointment for me.

Was there too yesterday. But it was a bit of a disappointment. Only Count of Tuscany was great!
