http://vault.ncaa.com/ The 1980s were closed out with one final game for the ages. Rumeal Robinson's two free throws with three seconds left in OT led to a Michigan victory over Seton Hall. The 80-79 win under interim head coach Steve Fisher was the first in Wolverine history. Glen Rice led Michigan in scoring with 31 points.

Phantom foul. It's a shame that a really good game came down to that.

Michigan should've won the game on Mill's wide-open jumper at the buzzer, not Robinson's free throws.

Robinson went on to defraud dozens of banks and sell his own mother's house without her knowledge.
It's only fitting that he made his career on a phantom call; he's a cheat, plain and simple.

I would say half of all fouls don't affect the play, but even the player knew that he had his hands on robinson. He had his hands up just like any other guy who fouls another. Seton Hall had to foul or watch robinson make a layup. It was a bad position for Seton hall.

I know this is a year ago but the guy was passing the ball; not trying to shoot it.
