Most people spend (waste) to much time on creating/buying products and on administration tasks. What you should be focusing on is marketing/sales. That is where the money comes from. Here is what a an average business looks like.

Time spent on:
Product - 20%
Operations - 70%
Marketing - 10%

And here is what it should look like:
Time spent on:
Product - 20%
Operations - 20%
Marketing - 60%
