BEARCATS ROD TAYLOR STUTZ BEARCAT Ep 1/01

One Season Wonder of 1971. It's a great show but interest in Westerns were flagging at the time and this show didn't stand a chance going up against the Flip Wilson show. John Vernon (Dean Wormer) was the baddy of the first episode, but there were many other well known actors that also took on this dynamic western duo. Leslie Nielson, Henry Silva, William Smith and Andrew McCarthey are just some of them.

Original movie Powderkeg was terrific I think I saw it in the theater about 3 times. Can't find it on the internet.

Don't bother with the VHS of the movie. The quality is poor. The DVD's though are very good.

When i load the clips (such as ep 1/01 ) the screen shot tells me that the EPT (estimated playing time )is 9min and 7sec but when i click play the counter only shows 3min etc. Is there a problem with the upload ....... Why can't i watch the full clips......

I know it only lasted one season, but I loved this show. It was sort of part WILD WILD WEST, part MAN FROM UNCLE, part DOC SAVAGE (it would take too long to explain).  In any event, I really dug this series--and I WANTED that car like crazy!

Many thanks for posting this - never thought I'd see it again. Similar to Alias Smith & Jones with Pete Duel. I recommend "The Hell with Heroes" (1968) w/Rod Taylor and Duel. Similar feel and relationship dynamic he has with Cole. The film, albeit set in postwar Europe, might have influenced this show or at least the casting.
