Soap Opera Cancellation Protest Rally NYC 4-26-11

Two guys from rural New Hampshire made the 4 hour trek to Manhattan to join in a rally to save One Life to Live and protest the ABC decision to end their favorite soap. This video includes 30 to 60 protesters outside 2 different ABC buildings on 66th St. plus appearances by several stars of the show. The cops showed up at both places and several media outlets covered the rally.

@kimjgoodwin It was Brian Frons, President of ABC Daytime for that schemes of The Chew and The Revolution. That's gone too far. We the viewers will call the police to arrest Brian Frons for fraud and even cheating to call it a cancellation and ending the long running soaps of All My Children and One Life to Live. We will like to watch it all over the years. We want it back on air and revived the two soaps of All My Children and One Life to Live. We're here to changed the story in news headlines.

This protest, gives me the chills. I had the pleasure to work as an extra and under five on AMC, OLTL in the late 80's and early 90's while in my teens. I am heart broken.

Awesome! Wish I was in NY! Are you all attending the protest during upfronts on May 17th where ABC will try to pitch their fall lineup to their sponsors??????? I think this would be a perfect time to get a huge protest together! ABC is freaking about this day getting leaked out to the soap fans!
