generally large distance precision shooting need more weight under the fore loading tip.

the metal edge of the loading tip and magazine wheel can always have rubber band get worn much quickly, the bands must be jammed as long as one piece happen to be broken under the tension. More shooting distance means you have to shorten the band, that makes band more brittle, and wide band with more tension can help nothing but mass up both process of loading and firing.
