(oops) The playing order is:

15 - 1 - 2 - 11 - 14

Piano: Leonard Pennario

"The Two Pianos of Leonard Pennario"

One of Pennario's most unusual projects at Capitol was a record of two-piano music. As the notes explained:

'Suppose that both parts of a compoition for two could be performed by one and the same man, thanks to the magic of electronics? That is the exciting prospect here. For the primo and secundo parts of these works were recorded separately, the latter simultaneously with the playbacks of the former to make for perfect synchronization. As a consequence, these performances have a rapport no two players could hope to achieve, for they are the product of a single mind.'

Enjoy the playing of this unique, miraculous American talent!
