  • great video. raw food is the cure. meat is the disease. paul nison has some decent info as well. I like don tolman way. check him out...

  • interesting! Never heard of don tolman but I'll be googling him in a bit. I agree I like paul nison too. He has a lot of really good info and I believe he is correct in all things except the whole cacao thing... I believe chocolate is like an herb... and not a tonic herb either. I'm not surprised people have a hard time with it if they are thinking of it as a food. plus many people have bad relationships with food. I know I do, I wouldn't be as heavy as I was when I went raw if I didn't. o_o

  • watch don tolmans youtube videos. he is the man. he goes way more philisophical than most raw foodies..

  • nods nods, I just woke up, and I'm watching the don tolman interviews right now. yuppers! =^-^= hrmms, sounds so far a little bit like listening to paul nison talk about biblical diets.

  • Yeah, I always get a kick out of people who tell me I need to get meat for protein. So many people don't realize there's more than one way to get protein (and a much healthier way)!

  • yeah! They seem to think also that some sources are a little lower then others when it comes to meat... but if you really think about it... raw foodies eat tons more of our sources of protein then the "healthy meat eaters" would! We aren't confined to a big fluffy salad. We have green juices and green smoothies that help allow us to pack on more greens then we could of eaten whole. Plus juicing and blending, chews our food better then we can meaning we get more nutrition out of what we eat.

  • Sounds Great! I'm actually going to get some raw protein powders myself. I don't know which one to get yet. Not sure about sources of gaba but I suspect the reason I no longer have panic attacks is the amount of green leafy veggies and spirulina in my salad dressing, which is a really great source of many of the mood boosting amino acids. Course.. there are raw people who eat things like raw eggs, raw goats milk, and honeyed raw chicken. ick.. I'll stick with powders for now.

  • great video NW. I have Julia's book in front of me now due to Sean's post. Gaba indeed helps me ,so I thought I'd also up my meat intake but after a bit of research I found that Germinated brown rice also is a source of gaba .
