We'll be covering things such as node compositing, halos, rendering, layers and etc. just to add to the realism. Apology if theres a gap between tutorial 2 and 3, something messed up during recording. So I'll leave an explanation over what to do.

  • @davidmcsween Thanks, yea I believe you would mask it, because the glow was more of a compositing thing. Actually messing around with that in the 3D would be too much trouble imo. But if you could probably use your own glow textures to do that also if you don't want to mask.

  • Nice series of tuts, how would you knock out the atmosphere (halos) around the dark side? as they aren't affected by the lamp I guess you have to mask them somehow.
