Antonio Graceffo and Arman Alizad explore the ritual and deep cultural meaning that lies at the core of all forms of Muay Thai. Antonio gets hurt way really badly, and both Arman and Antonio crack wise. Unlike Seinfeld, its not a show about nothing. Its a show about a show.

  • i really hope u can make to kru muds place one day. its much smaller and there are few students (kru mud is only just starting to advertise effectively). there are a few interesting differences between the chaiya of kru mud and the chaiya of kru lek. i would really appreciate it if u could find the time to check out the chaiya videos i made recently, possibly even grace me with a comment :)

  • @Artaxerxes1986 Send me the info for the school. I have to get Kru Lek's permission to go there, first, though.

  • The people don´t think that MuayChayia-sparring is real? Looks very real in my opinion, very profound and technical.

  • Thanks, it feels real.

  • @brooklynmonk1 muaythaichairat(dot)com is the website (though the details in the english page are minimal compared to the thai page).

It's on Pattanagan Road (near Ramkamhaeng) soi 20 sub-soi (yaek 13). Kru Mud doesn't actually teach me (not yet anyways). Kru Peter Concz is my master. He recently became assistant grandmaster and is a very interesting man in terms of his martial arts experience and philosophy.

  • Man i love Asia and Asian culture.

  • wow someone actually turned up at Baanchangthai to fight you after watching youtube!

It's probably a good thing Chaiya takes so long to learn... weeds out the nimrods with chips on their shoulders who just want to learn how to bash people.

Walking down the street yesterday and this kid picked a fight with a passerby for no reason... kid started by using a ring Muay Thai stance. Very sad to see a great martial art abused like that.

  • lol. Sorry HotKebab, looks like you'll have to wait like everyone else!

  • no man, we have to wait till it is broadcast on TV. until then i am not authorized to say if Arman won or Tae won. i bet everyone is on the edge of their seat, wondering which way it went.

  • lol... it's worth watching, Arman gives it a really good go. Big respect to the guy :)

I'll have a chat with Antonio, maybe we can show a few small clips...
