All my vehicles have white letter tires. I use spray nine to clean the tires and the white letters. It works soo good better then any tire cleaner, then I use meguiars extreme tire shine to give them that wet black look for days.

I find a used kiwi shoe polish sponge works well with meguires tyre gel, no mess.

That brush is useless. My tires look better when I just wipe tires with a rag after rinsing at car wash then apply the dressing.

Little known to the consumer are the detrimental effects of silicone on tires and trim. Nearly all products currently available as "tire dressings" and
"protectants" contain silicone. While these products do briefly enhance appearance, they also degenerate and damage the surfaces to which they are applied. They then quickly wash off into your local water systems. Moreover, many tire manufacturers' warranty plans will not cover dry rot damage if evidence of silicone usage is found.
